SJVN Limited (NSE: SJVN) today announced the commercial operation of a 100.25 MW part capacity of its Bikaner Solar Power Project, effective June 30, 2025. This latest commissioning brings the total operational capacity of the 1000 MW project to 400.77 MW.
The announcement, made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, highlights the significant progress of the renewable energy venture. The Bikaner Solar Power Project is being developed by SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJVN Limited.
With 400.77 MW now commercially operational, the company stated that the remaining capacity of the 1000 MW project is expected to be commissioned soon, further bolstering SJVN’s renewable energy portfolio.
Following the announcement, SJVN’s shares were trading at ₹100.22, reflecting a marginal dip of 0.3% at the time of reporting.
This expansion underscores SJVN’s commitment to increasing its green energy footprint and contributing to India’s renewable energy targets.
