Servotech Renewable Power System Limited (NSE: SERVOTECH) has secured a significant domestic order from Bengaluru International Airport Limited (BIAL) for the installation of an advanced electric vehicle (EV) charging station. The contract, valued at INR 162 lakh (approximately INR 1.62 crore), underscores Servotech’s growing footprint in India’s burgeoning EV infrastructure sector.
The order entails the supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of 10 ultra-fast DC EV chargers, each boasting a robust capacity of 240 kW. These chargers are designated for deployment at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, specifically for airside EV operations, aiming to ensure seamless operation and energy efficiency for the airport’s electric vehicle fleet.
According to the company’s announcement, the project is slated for execution within a timeframe of 75 days from the date of the Purchase Order. This swift turnaround highlights the urgency and strategic importance of enhancing EV charging capabilities at one of India’s busiest airports.
The announcement was made outside market hours. Servotech shares were last traded at INR 147.05, reflecting a marginal decrease of 0.3% from its previous close.
