Mumbai, India – KSB Limited (NSE: KSB, BSE: 500249) announced on Monday, June 30, 2025, that it has received a significant order for the supply of boiler feed pumps for National Thermal Power Corporation Limited’s (NTPC) supercritical power plant projects.
The order, placed by Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T), encompasses a total of 15 sets of main boiler feed pumps, complete with booster pumps, motors, and associated accessories. These critical components are designated for NTPC’s Gadarwara STPP Stage-II (2x800 MW) and Nabinagar STPP Stage-II (3x800 MW) projects.
KSB emphasized the prestigious nature of this domestic order, stating that it further strengthens the company’s presence in India’s conventional energy market, particularly within the advanced supercritical power plant segment. The company views this as a key opportunity to reinforce its position in a vital industrial sector.
According to the terms of the contract, the delivery of these pump sets is scheduled to occur within 20 to 28 months from the date of the award. Payments for the order will be staggered, based on the achievement of various project milestones. KSB confirmed that the transaction is a domestic one and does not involve any related party interests or promoter group involvement.
The announcement was made outside market hours. KSB Limited’s shares last traded at ₹817, reflecting a marginal decrease of 0.2% from its previous closing price.
