Kernex Microsystems (KERNEX) is making headlines with a significant new order that underscores its role in modernizing India’s railway infrastructure. The company, known for its advanced railway safety solutions, has secured a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL), New Delhi.

This substantial order, valued at Rs. 209.82 Crores (including GST), is for the Survey, Design, Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of the KAVACH (Train Collision Avoidance System). The project will cover approximately 931 kilometers of the Double Line Automatic Signalling Section across the New Boraki-New Khurja Jn-New Bhaupur-New Unchdih-NewSonnagar stretch of the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor. 🛤️

For those unfamiliar, KAVACH is India’s indigenous automatic train protection system, designed to enhance railway safety by preventing collisions and over-speeding. This technology is crucial for ensuring safer and more efficient train operations, making Kernex Microsystems’ contribution vital to the nation’s railway network.

The project is slated for completion within 730 days from the date of the LOA. This new win further strengthens Kernex’s already robust order book. In fact, the company’s cumulative orders, including those from consortium and JV partners, have reached an impressive Rs. 3,346.35 Crores (including GST) since April 1, 2024. That’s a solid pipeline of work! 💪

Kernex Microsystems (India) Limited last traded at Rs. 1030.5, reflecting its position in the market. This latest order highlights the company’s expertise and continued growth in the critical railway signaling and safety sector.
