Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Limited (TMB) has announced a strategic expansion of its branch network with the opening of two new branches in South India. The new facilities, located in Kayarambedu, Tamil Nadu, and Malleswaram, Karnataka, are scheduled to commence operations on June 30, 2025.
The announcement, made on June 27, 2025, is in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, which mandates the disclosure of significant corporate events.
The Kayarambedu branch will be situated at No.334A, Ground Floor, Nellikuppam Road, Jawaharlal Nehru Nagar, Kayarambedu, Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu – 603202. Concurrently, the Malleswaram branch will open its doors at No.1, 9th Cross Street, Ward No.7, Malleswaram, Bengaluru District, Karnataka – 560003.
This expansion underscores TMB’s commitment to enhancing its presence and accessibility for customers across key regions. At the time of this announcement, TMB’s stock was trading at ₹446.6, marking a slight increase of 0.2%.
