Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Limited (TMB) has announced a significant expansion of its retail network with the opening of five new branches across Tamil Nadu. The announcement was made outside market hours.
The new branches are set to commence operations on June 27, 2025, strategically located to enhance the bank’s reach. The new locations include Zamin Uthukuli in Coimbatore District, Mangalam in Tiruppur District, Krishnapuram in Tirunelveli District, Keela Panangadi in Madurai District, and Mohanur in Namakkal District.
This strategic expansion was formally intimated to the exchanges in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The move underscores Tamilnad Mercantile Bank’s commitment to strengthening its presence and serving a broader customer base in the state.
At the time of the announcement, shares of TMB were trading at ₹446.6, marking a slight increase of 0.2%.
