Power Mech Projects Secures ₹159 Crore Solar Power Orders in Bihar

Power Mech Projects Limited (NSE: POWERMECH) announced on June 26, 2025, that it has secured significant new orders from Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL). The contracts are for the development of grid-connected distributed solar power plants across various locations in Bihar.

These projects, with a cumulative capacity of 13.66 MW (AC), fall under the PM-KUSUM Component C2 Scheme, focusing on feeder-level solarization of agricultural and mixed feeders. The comprehensive scope of work for Power Mech Projects includes the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and subsequent operation and maintenance of the solar power plants, along with the associated transmission infrastructure.

The total estimated revenue from these orders is approximately ₹159 Crores, to be generated over a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) period. The projects are to be executed within 12 months. Specifically, the orders cover three locations: Rajoun (4.221 MW, approximately ₹48.29 Crores), Sakahara (4.285 MW, approximately ₹49.02 Crores), and Sambhuganj (5.155 MW, approximately ₹61.78 Crores), all with 25-year PPAs.

At the time of the announcement, shares of Power Mech Projects were trading at ₹3271.3, reflecting a 2.5% decline.
