Dilip Buildcon's Rs 1,060 Crore Bangalore-Chennai Expressway Project Achieves Provisional Completion

Mumbai, India – Dilip Buildcon Limited (DBL) (NSE: DBL) today announced a significant milestone with the provisional completion of a key section of the 4-lane Bangalore-Chennai Expressway project in Andhra Pradesh. The project, valued at Rs 1,060 crore, has received its Provisional Completion Certificate and is now fit for commercial operation.

The project, officially titled “Construction of 4 lane Bangalore-Chennai Expressway from Km 127.000 (Bangarupalem) to Km 156.000 (Gudipala) Section in the State of Andhra Pradesh under Bharatmala on Hybrid Annuity Mode (Phase II/Package III),” commenced commercial operations on May 9, 2025.

Executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM), the project had an initial bid project cost of Rs 1,060.00 crore, with a first-year Operation & Maintenance (O&M) cost estimated at Rs 3.00 crore. The construction period for this section was 24 months, followed by an operational period of 15 years from the Commercial Operation Date (COD).

This completion underscores Dilip Buildcon’s ongoing commitment to expanding India’s infrastructure network, particularly within the Bharatmala Pariyojana. The new section is expected to enhance connectivity and facilitate smoother transportation between Bangalore and Chennai.

In compliance with SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015, the company has also informed that the trading window for dealing in its securities for all insiders, designated persons, and their immediate relatives will remain closed for 48 hours from the date the information is made public.

At the time of this announcement, Dilip Buildcon’s stock was trading at Rs 504.2, reflecting a slight decrease of 1.3%.
