Big news from the infrastructure sector! Enviro Infra Engineers Limited (EIEL), known by its symbol EIEL, has just announced a significant boost to its order book. The company has received two Letters of Acceptance (LOAs) from the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board, signaling a major win in the critical water infrastructure space. 💧
These two domestic contracts collectively are valued at a whopping over ₹221 crore (inclusive of taxes), marking a substantial addition to EIEL’s portfolio. Let’s dive into the details of these exciting projects:
The first contract focuses on the Byatarayanapura Zone, covering 110 village areas (Phase-II) under the Karnataka Water Security and Disaster Resilience Program (KWSDRP). EIEL will be responsible for the Design, Engineering, Construction, and Commissioning of a wastewater treatment plant with a tertiary treatment facility and an intermediate sewage pumping station. What’s more, this isn’t just a build-it-and-leave-it project; it also includes a ten-year Operation & Maintenance (O&M) period. This project is structured under the DBO (Design, Build, Operate) mode, with the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) phase slated for completion within 30 months.
The second contract, also for 110 village areas (Phase-II) under the same Karnataka Water Security and Disaster Resilience Program (KWSDRP), targets the Mahadevapura Zone. This project is even more comprehensive! EIEL will undertake the Design, Engineering, Construction, and Commissioning of multiple wastewater treatment plants, complete with tertiary treatment facilities and even solar panels! Additionally, the scope includes the procurement and construction of raising mains, main sewers, laterals, machine holes, and lift sewage pumping stations. Similar to the first, this contract also includes a crucial ten-year O&M component, following a 30-month EPC completion. This project operates in a hybrid mode, encompassing both Works-A and Works-B.
Both projects highlight EIEL’s expertise in providing end-to-end solutions for complex water and wastewater management. The inclusion of long-term O&M contracts is particularly noteworthy, as it provides a stable revenue stream for the company beyond the initial construction phase. These wins underscore EIEL’s commitment to empowering a greener planet by contributing to essential urban infrastructure and water security initiatives. 🏗️
This is certainly a positive development for Enviro Infra Engineers, reinforcing its position in the growing Indian infrastructure landscape.
