RITES Secures Rs 28.50 Crore Order for Gujarat Urban Development Projects

RITES Limited (NSE: RITES, BSE: 541556), a leading engineering consultancy company, has announced a significant new order from the Gujarat Urban Development Company Limited (GUDC). The contract, valued at Rs 28.50 crore (exclusive of GST), involves the appointment of RITES as a Third Party Inspection (TPI) agency for critical urban infrastructure projects.

The order pertains to water supply (WSS), underground drainage (UGD), and sewage treatment plant (STP) projects being implemented under the Amrut 2.0 and SJMMSVY schemes across various Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in Gujarat. This domestic contract is set to be executed over a period of sixty months, or five years.

This announcement serves as an update to a previous intimation made on June 3, 2025. The company confirmed that the order does not involve any related party transactions, nor do the promoter or promoter group companies have any interest in the entity that awarded the contract.

At the time of this announcement, RITES shares were trading at Rs 278.65, reflecting a marginal decline of 0.5%. The announcement was made outside market hours.
