Mumbai, India – Bajel Projects Limited (BAJEL) today announced it has secured a substantial Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) order for a substation project from a prominent private player in the energy and power transmission sector. The announcement was made on June 24, 2025.
The order, classified by the company as a ‘Large’ project, falls within the value band of INR 100 crore to INR 200 crore. It encompasses the establishment of a 400kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) and 765kV Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS) extension substation.
The scope of work for this domestic contract is comprehensive, covering two key components: the supply of all Extra High Voltage (EHV) equipment, including mandatory spares, tools, tackles, and auxiliaries, and the provision of services for Erection, Testing, Commissioning (ETC), along with associated civil works for all materials and equipment. The project is slated for completion within 18 months from the date of the Notification of Award.

At the time of this announcement, shares of Bajel Projects Limited (BAJEL) were trading at ₹237, reflecting a slight decline of 0.6%.
