GURUGRAM – Acme Solar Holdings Limited (ACMESOLAR) today announced the full commissioning of its 300 MW solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, marking a significant expansion of its operational renewable energy portfolio. The company’s shares were trading at ₹249.38, up 0.1%, as the news broke.

The completion of the ACME Sikar Solar project follows the commissioning of an additional 60 MW capacity, bringing the total commissioned capacity for this project to 300 MW. Earlier phases of the project, totaling 240 MW, had been commissioned in stages, as previously intimated by the company on May 9, May 19, and June 10, 2025.

Located across approximately 1,300 acres in Bikaner, one of India’s prime solar irradiation zones, the project is connected to the Bikaner II substation at 220 kV. It is projected to generate around 780 million units (MUs) of renewable energy annually. The project was awarded under the SECI-ISTS XVIII scheme with a tariff of INR 3.05 per unit, and the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is expected to be signed soon.

With this latest milestone, Acme Solar’s total operational renewable energy capacity has surged to 2,890 MW. This expansion reinforces the company’s position as a leading integrated renewable energy player.

In a related development, Acme Solar also announced the commissioning of its maiden 50 MW wind project at Shapar, Gujarat, during the current quarter. This project, which saw an additional 3.3 MW capacity commissioned recently, further diversifies the company’s energy portfolio and highlights its in-house EPC capabilities.

Acme Solar Holdings boasts a diversified portfolio of 6,970 MW spanning solar, wind, FDRE, and hybrid solutions, with another 4,080 MW currently in various stages of implementation. The company leverages its in-house EPC and O&M division for end-to-end project development and operational management.

This announcement underscores Acme Solar’s commitment to expanding its green energy footprint and contributing to India’s renewable energy targets.
