Power Mech Projects Secures ₹159 Crore Solar Power Plant Orders from Bihar State Power Generation Company

Power Mech Projects Limited (POWERMECH) has announced securing significant orders from Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL). The projects involve setting up grid-connected distributed solar power plants for solarization of agricultural feeders in Bihar.

The orders, valued at approximately ₹159 Crores, are for the development of solar power plants with a cumulative capacity of 13.66 MW (AC) across various substations in Bihar. The revenue will be generated over a 25-year period through Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). The scope of work includes design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the solar power plants, along with associated transmission infrastructure.

The company will develop three solar power plants at Rajoun (~₹48.29 Crores), Sakahara (~₹49.02 Crores), and Sambhuganj (~₹61.78 Crores). The plants have capacities of 4.221 MW, 4.285 MW, and 5.155 MW respectively. The projects are to be executed within 12 months. The projects are being developed under the PM KUSUM Scheme Component C (Feeder level solarization) on BOO (Build, Own, Operate) basis.

On Friday, Power Mech Projects shares closed at ₹3141, up 1.3%.
