BHEL Secures ₹65 Billion Order from Adani Power for Thermal Units

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) [NSE: BHEL], trading at ₹263.45, down by 0.4%, has announced the receipt of a significant order from Adani Power Ltd. The Letter of Award encompasses the supply of equipment, specifically Steam Turbine Generators along with auxiliaries, and supervision of erection and commissioning for six (6) thermal units, each with a capacity of 800 MW.
The total value of the order is approximately ₹65 billion, excluding GST. BHEL will be responsible for both the equipment supply and the supervision of the erection and commissioning processes. The timeline for execution will be as per customer’s project requirements.
