Magellanic Cloud's Subsidiary Bags ₹85 Cr Railway Surveillance Deal! 🚂

Big news from the tech and infrastructure front! Magellanic Cloud Limited (MCLOUD) has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Provigil Surveillance Limited, has landed a significant contract that’s set to enhance security across India’s vast railway network. 🚀

Provigil Surveillance has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) for the provision of cutting-edge Video Surveillance Systems (VSS). This impressive project, valued at approximately ₹85 crores (Rupees Eighty-Five crores), will see VSS deployed across 441 D & E category stations, with additional augmentations at 43 major stations (Categories A1, A, and B) of Southern Railway.

What does this mean for the railways? Think enhanced passenger security and a robust, cyber-secure, AI-enabled surveillance infrastructure. The project scope is comprehensive, covering:

• IP-Based CCTV Deployment: High-definition IP CCTV cameras at stations and RPF/GRP posts.
• Networking Infrastructure: Robust equipment for seamless connectivity and real-time monitoring.
• Advanced AI Integration: Deployment of Video Management Servers, AI-based Video Analytics, and Face Recognition Software (FRS) for intelligent monitoring, anomaly detection, and rapid incident response.

This isn’t Provigil’s first rodeo! This latest win follows earlier Letters of Acceptance from NHAI worth ₹32 crores and South Central Railway worth ₹2.25 crores for similar AI-based video surveillance deployments. When you add them all up, these back-to-back project wins total an impressive ₹119.25 crores! 💰
