Big news from the infrastructure front! Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has just announced a major win, securing a Letter of Award (LOA) from none other than the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC).
This isn’t just any contract; it’s for ‘Contract D2C-02,’ a substantial project that involves the part design and construction of a 7.298-kilometer viaduct. Imagine this: seven new metro stations will be part of this stretch, including key locations like Pushp Vihar, Saket District Court, Pushpa Bhawan, Chirag Delhi, GK-1, Andrews Ganj, and Lajpat Nagar. This project is a crucial part of the Delhi MRTS Phase-IV, specifically connecting Lajpat Nagar to the Saket G block corridor.
And the value? This domestic project is valued at a substantial βΉ447.42 crore (that’s over Four Hundred Forty-Seven Crore Rupees), inclusive of 18% GST. RVNL is set to complete this ambitious undertaking within 36 months.
This win underscores RVNL’s expertise in large-scale railway and metro infrastructure development and is a positive step for urban connectivity in Delhi. It’s exciting to see such significant projects moving forward, contributing to India’s growing infrastructure! β¨
