Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), a true powerhouse in the Indian automotive and farm equipment sectors, has just unveiled its sales figures for June 2025, and they are painting a picture of solid growth!
The company announced an impressive 14% year-on-year surge in its overall auto sales, hitting 78,969 vehicles, including exports. The Utility Vehicles (UV) segment, a major growth driver for M&M, truly shone, selling 47,306 units in the domestic market, an 18% jump compared to June last year. Including exports, total SUV sales reached 48,329 units.
Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., highlighted the strong performance, noting, “In June, we achieved SUV sales of 47,306 units, a growth of 18%, and total vehicle sales of 78,969 units, a 14% growth compared to the same month last year. The quarter ended on a very positive note for us, marking the highest quarter ever for SUVs.”

Beyond just vehicles, M&M’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB) also delivered strong performance, a key segment where Mahindra is the world’s largest tractor company by volume. Domestic tractor sales in June 2025 reached 51,769 units, up 13% from the previous year. Total tractor sales, including exports, stood at 53,392 units.
Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, M&M Ltd., commented on the sector’s growth: “The industry posted growth in June 2025, primarily driven by cash flow from Rabi crop harvesting & widespread arrival of monsoon across most regions.” He added that strong foodgrain production and government initiatives are expected to further boost tractor demand.
